credit cards
Credit cards are very good when they’re good, but when they are bad they’re evil. You need to carefully see the fine print to ensure that you are aware of all of the costs which come along with making purchases on your own credit card. Keep reading to learn more about managing your credit cards well.

Make your credit payment before it is due so that your credit score remains high. Paying your bill late will set you back both in the type of late fees as well as in the form of lower credit score. Creating an automatic payment schedule along with your credit card company or bank can save you time and money.

Make sure you keep good records from the amount you are spending monthly making use of your credit card. While that impulse buy might appear a great idea during the time, these amounts can easily add up to a big balance. Unless you pay attention to the amounts you put onto your cards, when it’s time to pay, you might not be able to afford to pay the bill.

Make sure you remove the balance of one’s credit card or review every month before the due date. Doing this will help your credit rating and open more doors for you. While you don’t necessarily have to pay in full, this can allow you to avoid accruing any interest, which helps save money in the future.

Whenever you are traveling, especially overseas, take two credit cards with you. Having cards from two separate banks offers you more options. In the event you run into trouble employing a card, a different one from that bank will not be of any help. You are going to be better able to get money if the cards usually are not from the same institution.

Don’t apply for several or two bank cards. Each time you apply for one, it’s going to show up on your credit report and reflect negatively on your own score. Avoid simply accepting offers received online or in the mail since they usually have fees connected with them because of guaranteed approval.

Once you close your credit card accounts, be sure you destroy the physical card. Leaving an expired card a treadmill for a closed account lying around exposes you to definitely risk. If such cards end up in the hands of somebody unscrupulous, they supply all of the right information to reopen a merchant account in your name and employ your credit without authorization.

Request an interest rate reduction if you run into financial difficulty. If your payments usually are not timely, creditors won’t hesitate to improve rates and add extra fees. If you contact the credit card provider, it’s possible to get a reduction in these charges.

Ensure you will almost always be paying your credit card bill on time. Ignoring the due date on your credit card bill can lead to large penalty fees. Additionally, most companies will increase the interest rate on your credit card, which means an increase in the cost of every purchase you apply to that card thereafter.

Many bank cards offer loyalty programs. Try to find these highly beneficial loyalty programs which could apply to any credit card you use frequently. If used wisely, you can end up with an additional income stream.

You should never, under any circumstances, pay your credit card bill utilizing a credit card. Sometimes individuals get desperate and request cash advances, using the intention of using that money to cover their bill. This trick is a losing game, though. The fees and rates of interest that compare through this action can rapidly become crippling, turning a short-term recession into a perpetual one.

Learn how closing the account connected with your bank card will affect you before you shut it down. Sometimes, closing a merchant account can cause your credit history to decrease. Furthermore, focus on keeping open them you have had the longest.

Whenever you buy using a credit card on the web, keep copies of the receipt. Save this receipt before you receive your bill to guarantee the company that you simply bought from is charging the right amount. File a dispute should you be overcharged as soon as you discover it. This can ensure that you aren’t wrongly overcharged.

Before applying for a credit card, ensure that you investigate every one of the fees associated with owning the credit card and not just this interest. Sometimes you can find charges like advance loan rates, service charges and application fees that might make the card not worthwhile.

As was mentioned previously, credit cards could be a source of great frustration. However, a number of these frustrations may be prevented after some due diligence when deciding on the right card. Use the mentioned suggestions and you will enjoy living with credit cards much more.

Are you a blogger? Or do you love blogging but feel lazy to login to your CMS (Content Management System) in your website to publish them? If so, Microsoft has created the perfect tool for you. The name of the tool is Windows Live Writer. It is a desktop application for publishing blogs which eliminates the hassle of logging in to the CMS everytime. It was first launched on November 6th, 2007 as Windows Live Writer 2008 and its last stable release was launched on August 7, 2012 as Windows Live Writer 2012. Windows Live Writer supports the blogging platforms like WordPress, Blogger, SharePoint and many others, therefore, allowing the bloggers using various platforms to publish their blogs without hassles.

Now, let us move on to setting up Windows Live Writer for blogging. Through this post, we will teach you about setting up Windows Live Writer for blogging at TechNetNepal.net, which is a teaching-learning-sharing portal of Microsoft Innovation Center Nepal. For being able to blog at TechNetNepal.net, you will first need to have a blogging space. For getting your very own blogging space, you will have to create an account at TechNetNepal, then send an email to mic@micnepal.org, requesting them to provide you a blogging space.

Step 1: Download Windows Essentials 2012 from here. And run the file that is downloaded.

You can put a tick on ‘Remember my password’ if you want the application to keep your credentials saved for the future purposes.7wlw

Step 8: A window showing “Setting up your blog account” will be shown for some minutes. After the setup is finished, you will be asked to “Select blog type”.
