The CEO of the American Company, Apple has rejected the concept of creating a new hybrid by merging laptop and tablet. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook has described the concept of merging iPad and MacBook as an unproductive and useless agreement. After Apple’s competitor Asus launched Transformers’ different models of hybrids in the market, Apple was also expected to merge two well-established brands to create a new hybrid brand. On the other hand, chips producer Intel had also liked the concept of merging those brands.
According to Cook, “In order to earn more profit in the present time, the merging of any well-established brands may not give full satisfaction to the customers. A toaster and a refrigerator can also be converged into one but it will not give full satisfaction to the customers.” Cook has even cleared that by the imitation of other companies, Apple will not take any kind of defensive step. He even added that he would never play the dirty game in the matter of patent rights of technologies and products and such debates would be ended through discussions. |
According to some personalities, Tim Cook has became more self-confident by the double profit that Apple earned in the first terminal of 2012 A.D. In the first three months of this year, Apple has sold its more than eleven million units of IPad which is 150% more than the previous year’s sales.
