Nokia was a leading brand of mobile phones before some years. It was even known as the King of Mobile Phones because it was used and liked by most of the people of the world. Nokia had became the leading brand of mobile phones after it had beaten Motorola in 1997 A.D.
But after the short ruling period of 14 years, Nokia’s regime as the King has been seized by another brand. It has been beaten by another brand, i.e. Samsung. In the past, Nokia was known as the largest mobile phone producer and seller but this time Samsung has taken the lead.According to an investigation agency, Strategy Analytics, within the first terminal of 2012, Samsung beat Nokia very badly and it became the leader of the brands. |
Currently there are more than 9 crore 30 lakh units of Samsung mobile phones in use whereas only 8 crore 30 lakh units of Nokia mobile phones are used by the customers.
The greatest manufacturer of Television and Flat Screen, i.e. Samsung which is a South Korean company has taken its lead in the world of mobile phones by manufacturing cheap priced and efficient mobile phones. This is the main cause that attracted the people towards using Samsung mobiles. Samsung had earned the profit of Four Billion Dollars in the first terminal of 2012 which is 89% greater than the profit earned in the previous year. Samsung will be releasing its new versions of Galaxy Smartphones in 3rd May, 2012.
